The Casco Bay Festival is Maine's premier annual Arts & Music Festival. Held three times a year during the summer and fall months, this weekend festival is always free to the public and features live music, food, arts & crafts, wooden boat building workshops, nonprofit organizations and historic sailing tours of Casco Bay.
The Casco Bay Festival is located on the Maine State Pier, next to the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal on Commercial Street in Old Port; Portland's historic Maritime Center. In Old Port you will find a variety of restaurants, shops, and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute. There are daily sailing tours to view great scenery; seals, lighthouses, Fort Scammel, lobster traps and the islands of Casco Bay.
Directions:
From I-295, take Exit 7 and follow Franklin Arterial to the end. Turn right onto Commercial Street and the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal is on the left hand side at the first traffic intersection.
From I-95, follow the signs: "Portland Waterfront" and "Old Port."
